Summertime may be a time for relaxation, but here at TWD we are busy making plans for the next few months! Wedding season is well on its way for 2025 which means that it’s the ideal time for 2026 brides to be finding their perfect dress. Here at TWD we like to make your dress shopping a little more fun with events and promotions to look forward to! We are excited to share with you a little look into what we have in store for you the next few months!

Dollywood Days of Summer

We love the opportunity to give back to our community and this summer we have partnered with our local Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library through the Livingston Twilight Rotary. We started with a one weekend event kicked off by the Boots and Beats Festival in June and were so inspired by hearing how much everyone loves the organization that we decided to extend our fundraising through the end of August! So, what does this all mean for you? Besides the excitement of saying “Yes” to your dress, you also will be helping to promote literacy and reading for local young children. For every bride who purchases her dress now through August 31^st, 2025, we will be sponsoring one year worth of books for a child. Lis Simon Trunk Show

The next exciting event we have is on August 9^th-16^th – our Lis Simon Trunk Show! Trunk shows are a unique opportunity to explore every dress in the newest collection from a designer. As a store, we cannot carry every dress from every designer so Lis Simon sends her entire collection of samples to our store for our brides to be able to see the collection as a whole.  We are so excited to have these dresses in store as it will be the first time our brides will get to try on any of the dresses from the 2025 collection. As a bonus to our brides who say “Yes” to a Lis Simon Trunk Show gown, you will receive 10% off your dress! Check out the collection hitting our racks here!

Destination Stars Hollow

Brighton is turning into Stars Hollow for the 2^nd annual Destination Stars Hollow event on September 20-21^st! This event was so popular last year, that they are extending it to a whole weekend. This Gilmore Girls inspired event is a fun opportunity to explore downtown Brighton businesses in a unique way. TWD is taking on the persona of the iconic Secret Society from the episode “You Jump, I Jump, Jack” with several photo opportunities and lots of fun merchandise relating to “The Life and Death Brigade.” There is only one chance at a bridal appointment during this weekend where crowds of 40,000 are expected.  And that opportunity is during the Friday VIP night – we will have a special “I said yes in Stars Hollow” bridal appointment experience.  Spots are limited, so we recommend booking early if you want to partake. We are excited to share more information about all we will have to offer as the event gets closer.
