Our first official season of prom dress shopping starts soon!
The calendar has flipped over to a new year, and that can only mean one thing: prom is on the horizon! It may be a freezing, gray Michigan winter outside, but you can bet that we’re already thinking of springtime, bright colors, ruffles, and sparkle.
So much so, in fact, that we already have dresses matching all of those descriptions in our shop. The White Dress is preparing to kick off our first official prom shopping season in style, and our launch party is just around the corner, on January 21st—be sure to mark your calendar!
So whether you’ve been dreaming about your perfect dress for months, or you’re still looking for a little inspiration, let us help. We’ve pulled together a wide array of designers and dresses for you to choose from, and we’re ready and waiting to match you with your favorite. Here’s everything you need to know about The White Dress’ prom options in 2024.
Find the dress that’s uniquely you.
The most important part of dress shopping is, of course, the dresses. We have over 150 in stock now, and we’ve put together a selection that offers just about every style you can imagine. From fitted to ballgown and everything in between, we’ve got you covered.
Prom fashion trends for 2024 are already starting to emerge, and some of the themes we’re seeing are eye-catching textures—think tiered ruffles, lace, or sequins for some shine—and bold colors, including patterns and metallics. We have all of these styles and more available, in sizes ranging from 00 to 24. Keep an eye on our Facebook page this January for our prom dress album, where you’ll be able to see photos of our entire selection.
And if you don’t find anything that makes your heart sing in our current stock, don’t despair! Just let us know what you’re looking for in terms of silhouette, color, size, and price point, and we’ll work with our designers to help you find it. We’ll also be regularly restocking our collection, so check back often to see what’s new. With plenty of options available, we’re confident you’ll find something you love.

We’re having a party! Our official prom launch will be on Sunday, January 21 from 11am-2pm. No appointment necessary, just come by and sign in at our front desk. Everything is first come, first served—dresses are off the rack, and once they’re gone, they’re gone, so be sure to arrive early for the widest range of options.
After Sunday’s launch, we’ll have regular prom shopping hours from January 23 through May 31 on the days and times below. Like the launch party, just check in with our front desk, and we’ll show you to a dressing room in the order you arrive.
- Tuesday + Friday: 11am – 4pm
- Wednesday + Thursday: 1pm – 6pm
- Saturday: 3pm – 5pm
