We are so happy to be back with a new Bride of the Month!  It has been a few months, but we definitely have not forgotten about any of our wonderful brides.  Our next real TWD bride, Ramona, had a fantastic beach wedding in South Carolina.  Her simple chiffon from our wedding gown boutique fit perfectly with the beach venue and only enhanced the bride’s natural beauty.  We also can’t help but be a little jealous of Ramona’s sunny wedding day!  If only we could get some of that sun during this long cold winter.  Credit for these fabulous photos goes to Charleston Photo Art.  Now onto Ramona and Mark’s wedding day!

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Standing on the beach, saying vows to my husband.  Just four years before that, on a vacation alone, I prayed to God on that same beach that I would meet my husband soon.  In 2016, Mark flew down and surprised me during a family vacation by proposing to me on that very same beach.  In 2017, we were married there.  It was truly a full circle moment, and a dream and prayer come true.

What advice would you give to future brides?

A few words of advice for any bride: Enjoy the moment and be still enough to let your heart feel the awesomeness of marrying your soul mate and best friend.  Also, keep the planning simple, find a fabulous TWD dress that complements you AND is comfortable, and enlist a good friend who will mind the details on your special day so you can relax, have fun, and enjoy that extra piece of cake!

{What a fun family!}

Why do you want to be a TWD bride of the month?

My husband and I were 51 and 41, respectively, on our wedding day.  For each of us, it was our first marriage and we’re both busy professionals from completely different parts of the country.  I think it’s important for people to see a non-traditional bride, and that love is awesome and has no limits…  so dream on!
